If only i had studied harder. I was confident before the exam that i could score 240, but now i am hoping for it. But since it is over, there is no point being sad over it . I feel that i could do better in my eng, maths,science and chinese. I am hoping that i can get a A for eng and chinese and a A* for maths and science. Hope i can get it !

Earth Hour

During earth hour, i turned of all the lights. We lighted up some candles and played with some glow sticks. Ater that, i found it very boring. I just sat on my sofa, and nearly fell asleep.Suddenly, my father came home from his buisness trip. He brought some mangoes. At 9.30, we turned on the lights. It was good that I had suceeded in turning off the lights for an hour.

PSLE targets

I am planning to score 260++ for my PSLE. So i have to score about 85 per subject. But after my CA1, i don't think i can achieve my target. My eng, maths and science all went down. But my chinese went up. So i think i can achieve my aim in chinese. And i also think my math's aim is reachable as my maths did not go down so much.Only from 99 to 94. But i might not get my aim for english and science. So i think 255++ for my PSLE would be great and would make me very happy.

After class test 1

I scored very badly in the subject that i think i am good at like maths and science. For English, i scored 69.5/95. But my maths and science are one of the worse score i have ever gotten. Usually i would score between 96 to 100 for maths, but now i only scored 94. And usually , i would score between 88 to 92 for my science, so when i look at the 74 on my paper, my heart sanked. However, this time my Chinese had increased from 72 to 85. I was so happy. Overall, i think i did okay. I did alot of revision , but still did not get what i was aiming. I think i did not do well as the paper was too hard and i had many careless mistake. Next time , i will buy hard assessment books so that i know how to do the hard questions.

Goods and bads about exams

I find that exams are a good way to see if we can cope with our studies. But i find that too many exam are too stressful. 4 exams a year! Can't they make it 2 exams a year?I think our education system strengths is that students can excel in their studies but what i do not like about the system is that it is too stressful and that there is to much homework and exams. but Singapore has been doing well in international competitions . I think this is because our education system is very good and that we can excel in our studies. And their is also people from overseas coming to study in Singapore. Why? I think this is because people think singapore education system is good. Overall, i think that studying in Singapore is very good as i can excel in my subjects.

Activities after school

After school, i usually finish my homework, and then play tennis with my friends. Or i would invite my friends over to play computer games. Or i will play by myself.Or i will sometimes play football. And on Friday, i have Chinese tuition which will end in two weeks time. And on the weekends , i would stay at home or go to friend's house. I would not go shopping as i hate it.

Hi friends, i am back from a 4 month break.For this year, i have went to a few competition, but i only got good results for some of them. The best result for the competitions i joined this year was the NSW maths competition. I got a high score for that test, 38 out of 40.I also went to the rest of the NSW competition like english, science and computer skills. These competitions are for anyone. I also been to some competitions which choose me to join. I been to a gaming competition(world media masters) with 5 other school mates. we got a silver award. I also been to a video editing competition, but the results have not come out yet. However i still prefer going to maths competitions. So far, i been to two maths competition this year ( not including the NSW maths) . One of them was the NUS High Maths Olympiad 2008 - Bronze award. The other one was the ACSI Mathlympiad 2008 . It is not over yet.

Now, here is my targets for 2009 ( PSLE)

I want to score at least 98 out of 100 for my maths in PSLE, but i think that is impossible so i will be satisfied with an A star.For my english and chinese, i want at least an A, about 82 marks. And last but not least, i want to score an A star for my science. I hope i can achieve my dream results. I also want to participate in alot more competitions than this year.

Sleepy kids

My mother always tell me that i have to go to sleep, but i do not want to. At night, at about 9 30, i like to read a storybook as in the afternoon, the are construction workers working and it is extremly noisy. I usaully read for 30 min to 1 hour, and i sleep from 10 30pm to 6.20am. About 8 hours. I am usually playing games at home as i am free after i finish my homework. I only have HA on monday until 3 30 as my HA on wednesday is canceled. I also have tennis lesson on thursday and friday and have tution on friday night. I do not like playing computer games so much so i play my PSP or wii. when i wake up, i am a bit sleepy so I think i should actully read my story book earlier so that i could have more sleep.

CYBER BULLYING IS BAD

I think cyber bullying is very bad, and the person who is cyber bullying is a coward.Why must they hide behind a monitor and bully someone?Why don't they face the person one on one?

the people who cyber bully are people who have been bullied before. Maybe they want revenge? or maybe they just want to do it for fun. But i do not think it is fun to cyber bully. If you get bullied in school, tell the teacher about it and if you get cyber bullied at home, tell you parents about it. If you are a cyber bully, you should stop as it is a very bad thing. And if you are a victim, tell you teacher or parents about it.

NDP

I went to the NDP preview saterday, 12th July 2008. I found it quite boring as it was not very exciting. The only parts i liked was when the black knights flew and the fireworks. However, the black knight were to small and fast for me to capture a good shot on my camera(handphone).the fireworks were still ok to capture. The parts i did not like were the performances poformed on stage. I was so hard to see and the person in front of me was blocking. But overall, the national day parade was not bal:)

EAting food at school is not healthy, or is it?

I have stomach aches sometimes after i eat at the school cateen,so why do i still eat there?
that is because i have no choice. My parents are not at home and i do not prepare my recess.
I do not have a favourite stall but i often eat noodles at stall number 4. I rarely buy drinks as it is not so healthy as it is made of food colouring. To improve the school cateen, i think the school should install air con and the stall holders should cover the food somehow and not let insects come in contact with the food. By the way, the stall holders should sell more healthy food.THe only healthy foods i have eaten are the fruits from stall 1.

Road Safety Park

going to east coast park was fun.I was so lucky to be a cyclist but i took quite long to finish.Luckily, i did not get any demerit points. It was quite hard to find the places i had to go.i wonder how my friend could come in way earlier than me. First, i had to go to the fun corner.That was the hardest because the fun corner was only a man. Once i got there, the man signed my paper.i was really relived that i found the fun corner.After finding that place, i had to go to some other places. The other places where quite easy to find.After i finished, i went to buy a drink from a stall.The stall was crowded.I bet the uncle earned alot of money. I found some friend later a talked to them while drinking my drink.After that, we watched a short animated show and then took the bus back to school.This excursion was one of the best ones i have.

WHEN I GROW UP,I WANT TO BE A TENNIS PLAYER. I had this ambition since P2.During that period, my parent called a coach to teach me how to play. i was really excited. ON the day of the first lesson, my coach trown the ball at me a i hit the ball. he said i was quite good at it. that is why i want to be a tennis player.
